As an Apple fan, I'm glad to hear this. I'd love for iPhone to get on all 4 networks in the U.S. Apple's profits go up and millions more people get access to a great device. I would love to see iPhone 5 in September get released on all networks in the U.S. :apple:

The iPhone 4 had just the right thickness. Tapering everything to a weak point is bad engineering.

Does anybody else see the 9.6 inside the apple?
    Sept. 6th?

    Whatever it means, it's interesting.

I see an itunes logo in the leaf too. Perhaps they are by design.

I'm always amazed by the amount of abuse the human body can withstand. How is she not already dead? How is it that her bones don't break under the load? Astonishing, really.

The OS needs to look rich in color.

That kind of sounds like something Bill Gates would say (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pP0_uN42P44). :p

    Correction...
    *Truck

do you guys think i should just go ahead and buy a macbook then? i would love a MBP, but its to expensive.. im just a highschool student, and the black would really be great.

i dont know what to do :(
If you need it now buy it now! But when the macbooks get upgraded they may have a price drop and more ram and faster CPU and maybe even better graphics, just wait aslong as you can and if they havent had upgrades then your just gunna have to live with that..

VZ iPhone 4: Battery usage seemed higher after the update (10% overnight with no usage). I did a restore and it seems back to normal (1-2% overnight).

Wow, amazing how emotional people always get whenever I make a statement that could sound slightly anti-iPod... I know you love your iPod and all (I am very fond of mine myself), but over the last few years Apple has been focusing a dispropotional amount of energy into their cute little gadget which has massively boosted their profits. For those of us that don't salivate over all things iPod, I think this is too bad.

    That is all.

I don't even *own* an iPod, but I still think you're off base and aren't seeing the big picture. Thank goodness the people that run Apple don't think like you. Apple is focusing on these gadgets (iPod, Airport/AirTunes, iTV, iPhone) that aren't even Mac-centric, because they are *immensely* adding to Apple's reputation for innovation, style, and ease-of-use. These are attributes that translate directly to marketing the Mac. The iPod halo effect has been slow in coming but it *is* real. And it's soon to be followed by the iTV and iPhone halo effect. I think Apple will continue to make gains in the home market with their MacBooks. And maybe the iTV will help the Mac Mini take off as a media center computer. iMacs and Mac/Book Pros are always going to be a tougher sell because of their higher cost. But it's Apple's success in the broader consumer market that is allowing it to also stay in the niche high-end computer market...

Maybe a sign of universal iOS+Mac apps?

It wouldn't be too difficult for Apple to provide something like Rosetta for iDevice apps. It sounds extremely un-apple though. The only reason Apple provided Rosetta was to ease the PowerPC-Intel transition. I don't think there is any real benefit here because many iDevice apps would not translate well to a mouse and keyboard. It's possible that new iOS apps would have a "mac mode" that would solve this, so who knows.

    Agreed.

Why would anybody with limited know how about TV manufacturing go into that field?

USING somebody elses TV to display whatever makes much more sense.

I could see them coming in with a blockbuster smart projector device.

    Now we are talking:-)

I mean they knew everything about Flash based music players and the mobile phone market didn't they?

They won't do it because the competition wouldn't give them scree at a decent rate. LG, or Sony are hardly going to turn around and give them screens at a rate which would mean competition to their own products.

I'm happy with my 2.13 Ghz 13" MBA right now.
I have and enjoy it now - that's what counts!

So, it's only my lust for 11" might push me to "upgrade" this year .... and only if they add SD reader and keyboard backlight :p

But a year from now, I certainly will be happy to switch to Intel GPU
I hear it'll be much upgraded in Ivy Bridge - twice as fast and stuff

I have heard Gates owns a some shares of Apple and was wondering how many or what percentage he owns.
I don't know how much personally he has, if he even has any, but MS used to own some. It was part of an agreement where Apple agreed to use IE and not sue them in exchange for the promise that Office would still be developed. They bought a sizable amount of stock in Apple, but they were the non-voting variety, so they couldn't get a say in anything. They sold it off some years later when they could, at a large profit I might add.

That was back when Apple wasn't doing so good and MS were feeling the heat from the DOJ.

I hope people noticed that the picture has a lot of flare on it (the green hue) that makes it look bigger than it is.
Also is it just me or does the bottom half of the phone look the same - ie the whit and black glass at the bottom.
However this is the biggest no issue since time immemorial...

What did you think surely? I looked up Jamba's strawberries wild nutritional value and it about equals the mdondalds one. That's not bad considering everything out of mcdonalds is scary high in calories.

I really liked it. I couldn't really taste the banana very much, but that's not a big deal. I'll never buy anything else there (besides coffee), but I'll totally buy that again.

I got a small, but I think the medium size is the sweet spot.

Almost certainly. McDonald's has an aversion to being sued. Remember last time?

Of course not. They aren't the local constabulary.

But if no one called 911, they could be in violation of local laws that make it a crime to ignore a violent crime. Plus, those people in the video are clearly overweight. Certainly, McDonald's had a hand in that crime...

Ha ha... when I glanced at the RSS feed I thought it said "Page 3 Features?". I thought: "Why the heck would MacRumors add a 'Page 3'? Much of the 'Page 1' stuff never comes to pass, and they've got 'Page 2' for the even less substantiated stuff..."

    :p

I thought the same thing. :p
