... just write "gen." already (acronym for generation).
Sorry about playing grammar police, but this one was just too egregious for me. "gen." is an abbreviation, not an acronym. Laser is an acronym: Laser=L.A.S.E.R.=Light Amplified by Stimulating Emissions of Radiation.
I don't mind spending $80 on a paper clip which can hold and play 240 mp3's!
Also, I can totally see girls using it as a hair clip - mp3 player! :D
I am sure someone can photoshop an image for all of us.
How about this one? :D

Actually no, it doesn't. It asks you if you've ever had sexual contact with another male (at least in Colorado and NY, the two places I've given). I've never seen anything in the process that would preclude a gay virgin.
I'm not qualified to respond to that, although apparently studies have indicated otherwise. But I'm not informed enough to take those things for granted.
You're only making excuses for the discrimination. Gay virgins precludes nearly the entire populace over 22 and these studies have long since proven biased. The fact remains that if two male virgins became a committed couple and wanted to donate blood, if they ever had sexual contact with each other they'd be precluded for the sake of bigotry. That's entirely unacceptable to me as a person, let alone a person that has several family members in a similar situation who would love to donate, but cannot.
But, enough of this discussion. Let's highlight those who are able to donate and do. You are heroes and those of us who will eventually receive your gift thank you

I love that wallpaper! Any clues as to where it's from?
I love it too. Cracks me up. :)
I got it from here.
http://animals.desktopnexus.com/wallpaper/19420/
It was pixelated on the 27" iMac so I just created a new pic with the same BG color in the correct size and then added the picture int he middle. I can upload it if you need it.

It will never be. EU adds specific tax to all products so unless apple puts a factory somewhere in the EU it won't change.
Uh, no. The difference in price between the US and the EU is the VAT or equivalent, which means that they will have to charge that for production isnide the EU just as well.
The biggest difference is that in the US it's easier to get an iPhone on contract and then skip out on the contract. *That* makes a significant difference. 600 euros including VAT or 600 dollars excluding sales tax, not so much.

i, too, am firmly in the "Notes Haters" camp.
I know that I will get the usual canned response here from Notes fans ("but, you see, it is not just an email app, it is so much more...").
Yeah, they're probably the worst fanboys in the IT industry; "But it can do so much!" yes well if it can do so much, why is it the crashtastic pile of shite that it is today? If it crashes on you, you have to reboot the PC, cos just trying to start Lotus Notes again will give you a cryptic error message.
The user interface is the worst ever ("click that little unmarked rectangle top-left in the mail view to check for new mail!", and, oh, about 10'000 other possible examples of UI idiocy).
The last two jobs I've held have forced me to use this decades-past-it's-heyday trainwreck, and even though I've used it in various incarnations (~R4-R6 and whatever the latest public version is), I would love to know what the people at IBM were and still are smoking. Shouldn't you fix glaringly obvious bugs, from release to release? Do they even employ UI designers at IBM? Do they actually consider things such as optimizing performance, when rolling out a new release?
As far as I can see, the sole reason it still exists, apart from the fact that you can send and receive emails and do scheduling with it (which are the two things most companies use it for today), seems to stem from the veritable ARMIES of consultants and developers that keep on recommending it, ostensibly to protect their own incomes after having spent thousands learning how to develop applications for it.

You only hear about VP or Sr VP leaving/going in the media because, well everybody below is not important.. You will understand what it means when you start working...
Haha, what makes you think I'm not working? Sure, I will never be a Senior VP of anything, but I've been working now for 15 years. And not flipping burgers.

This is great news if it means the end of mobile me. Die Mobile Me - DIE DIE DIE. Anything will be better than the self centered sounding @me.com. I simply will not use the email address in a professional context. Don't mind @Mac.com, and still use it, but @me.com sends the wrong message.
Everyone here wishes your trolling, goo fan posts would DIE DIE DIE. That would be great news if it meant the end of your trolling.

The problem with that is that without a real HDMI connector HD-DVD or Blue-Ray commercial disks will downsample the video due to the DRM restrictions. You have to have an actual HDMI connector on both ends and they have to support HDCP to get a fully digital, full resolution image on any monitor/HDTV.
--laurenceI guess I'm not as much of a purist as some here. I make DVDs off EyeTV digital HD broadcast recordings with Toast 7 and they look and sound very close to the original HD broadcasts on my 24" Dell 1920 x 1200 display. I cannot see much nor hear any difference.
Call me old fashioned but I just don't see why I would want Blu-ray or HD-DVD until they are cost competitive with good old fashioned single layer 4.38 GB DVDs.

What about something like this (http://www.synaptics.com/onyx)?
I'm pretty sure this was brought up on this site many moons ago, but it's still a pretty sweet idea. Maybe something like what the iphone will be?

It's wrong, and anyone who supports its use is sick, twisted and advocating for inhuman and unethical treatment of prisoners. There are no redeeming characteristics about torture that could possibly justify its use. Not to mention those who advocate torture are telling our enemies that it is ok to torture our prisoners. How could they? That risk is unacceptable.
Every "excuse" used to justify the torture authorized by our prior administration has been debunked, including that it led to finding OBL. That one tidbit of information (the nickname) came from someone who was waterboarded, but the information came much later during interrogation performed in accordance with civilized rules.
Sick. Twisted.

Hello,
Does anyone know a way that i can make a gap in the border...
I want to create a 3px gap in top and bottom of the Right Nav Left Border line..
This is so that it won't touch the other borders.
How do i do that in CSS?
