Everyone enjoys a little wriggle space with taxes...the IRS knows that about each filer. Certain things however cannot and should not be done. it is not all black and white, if your previous LCA covers the new work location, you should be fine, else a new LCA is required.

If there is a change of work location (address), amendment to the existing LCA or new LCA should be filed/certified for the new work location/address. No Exceptions.
I went through this last year as one of my work location moved about 5 miles from one of my previous location. Our company lawyer mentioned that if there is a change of work location address on what was mentioned on your previous certified LCA, amendment to the existing LCA or new LCA should be filed/certified. As the LCA is for specific work location(address) that is entered in detail when LCA is submitted.
I went through this last year as one of my work location moved about 5 miles from one of my previous location. How could your friends get the 3 yr extension in their new company. Did they show their I-140 approval copy from previous company ?
In my situation, I don't think I can get the I-140 approval copy from my company.
So, can I move now before my 6 yr period ends in August and have company B transfer my H1B till 2010 (based on current + 3 yr I-797 copies) or wait till August when my 3 yr extension till 2010 takes effect ?

i spent around 3000$ for studies, could get only 2000$ under lifetime...

I don't think you can use both lifetime credit and tution deduction. Lifetime credit is a credit applied directly to amount of tax you owe and tuition deduction reduces your taxable income. You can use only one ( whichever gives you maximum benefit).

She said, usually they post the date, 1 week before the hearing in the committee. She is also told that, she is going to pass on the message for hearing, to the senators.

Certainly a vast majority of them are in the US with the intent to immigrate in the long term. If they spend the same amount of money for comparable education in Canada, Europe or Australia, they will never face the lousy and frustrating US immigration situation! I have finished my 6 years quota of H1B and right now I am on TN visa (I am Canadian). Since I started the green card process a little late, I still need more time to finish the green card process. So, my question is, is there any way I can go back to H1B visa again once my TN visa expires. I can not renew my TN because I have applied already for I-140 and that shows my intent to immigrate to US.

Until you file for 485, you don't have immigration intent, I-140 is employer application.
So, you might be ok with TN renewal. Once you file 485 you cannot go for TN renewal.
Also, If your I140 is approved I guess you can apply for H1 beyond 6 yrs. Else, the normal 6 year rule may apply in which case folks have to stay out of country for an year and come back.

My PERM was also denied in end of 2006. The lawyers files a Motion To Review (MTR) also called as Request for Review (RFR) i.e appeal of the denial. This got approved in december 2007 - It took almost one year. I could however maintain my priority date because of the successful appeal.
My company's lawyers were certain that the denial was in error and hence they filed MTR.
Is there anyway of taking advantage of the old priority date application that was denied with a new application.
If you make a new PERM application you cannot use your old priority date.
Speak to your lawyers to see if the denial was in error and if they r 100% sure that it was in error then apply for a MTR - it will take about a year to get processed tough. At least with this (i.e if it is possible) you can make a attempt to save your priority date.
I am not sure whether you can make a fresh PERM app WHILE your MTR/appeal is in process - but post this question on different boards and if you can then well and good.

I am going to start a new application now. What are my chances for an appeal by providing corrected supporting documents, can I apply a new application while an appeal is in progress..
Can I have multiple PERM applications from multiple employers at the same time, with different position titles?
Is there anyway of taking advantage of the old priority date application that was denied with a new application.
I almost lost 2 years in priority date because of this denial...
